About Brooke Brown
Brooke Brown is an 19-year-old singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and currently attending the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Seamlessly blending genres across pop, indie, folk, and rock, Brooke’s musical journey began as a toddler with a passion for singing. By the time she was in elementary school, she was already crafting her own songs and showcasing her talent and creativity.
Brooke’s musical education started with a community education class on the ukulele and a year of piano lessons. Her curiosity and dedication led her to teach herself a variety of instruments, including acoustic guitar and electric guitar. This diverse skill set has enabled her to create a unique and versatile sound that resonates with a wide audience.
Growing up with a solo mom after the loss of her father at a young age, Brooke channels her life experiences and emotions into her music. Her honest and relatable lyrics draw inspiration from real-life situations, making her songs deeply personal and authentic.
Often compared to industry icons like Olivia Rodrigo, Maggie Rogers, Sheryl Crow, and Joni Mitchell, Brooke is a gifted songwriter with a large catalog of hundreds of songs. Her talent was evident early on when she won her school’s talent show in sixth grade with her rendition of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes.”
With aspirations to perform in stadiums and at major festivals, Brooke Brown is a rising singer songwriter whose journey is just beginning. Her dedication, talent, and passion for music promise a bright future ahead.
She released her first single, Haven’t Seen You Since, in 2022 doing the production, lyrics, music, and mixing herself. Her debut EP, NOCTURNAL, was produced by F5 Soundhouse and was released in June 2024.
